Gain behind-the-scenes access to our collections by joining one of our Treasures tours, including seeing works of art and rare books that are not normally on public display.
Explore the vast biodiversity and horticultural history of the beautiful hidden gardens at Winchester College. This includes a look at the traditional College ‘quad’, a quiet sitting garden for the old College sick house, the tranquil gardens of the College’s war memorial, and the ‘Warden’s Garden’ with its herbaceous borders, woodland, and private section of one of the most famous chalk streams in the world.
Members of the College gardening team will be on-hand to share their knowledge and expertise on maintaining these beautiful spaces, as well as the College’s wider grounds.
There will also be refreshments available in the Warden’s Garden, including tea and homemade cake.
Tickets to visit the gardens are £10 and all proceeds go to the National Garden Scheme. Tickets will be available on the door but we recommend booking in advance.
